iWatermark Tutorial

For those who order my watermarks and have Macs, iWatermark is a great solution if you don’t want to purchase Photoshop Elements. I gave iWatermark a test spin tonight and I was able to figure it all out quite easily.

1. You will need iWatermark.

2. A photo

3. Watermark 3 (for those who order my watermarks I send one in .psd format, one in 2.png, one 3.png and a sample. You will need the version ending 3.png)

After installing iWatermark, open the program and you’ll see a page like this:

To add your watermark to the program, click on the "Edit" button highlighted in yellow above. This will open your Watermark Editor window.

First click "Image" to go to the image page.

Drag or double click and upload your watermark into the box shown by the arrow above.

Click "Just Picture"

Click on "Effects" to go to the Effects page.

Choose Text: None (no effect used) – my watermarks come to you pre-embossed. If you aren’t using my watermarks, and your watermark isn’t embossed, you may want to do so here.

Click on "General" to go to the General settings page.

Choose the location you’d like your watermark to appear on your image (I chose "Top Left")

Change scale to 50%

Now you are ready to put your watermark on your photo. Go back to your iWatermark window.

Upload your photo by dragging or clicking in the left-side box.

Checkmark "Watermark the Images"

Choose your watermark in the drop-down box.

Hit "Start Processing" button.

You will be asked where you’d like your watermarked photo to go, just create a folder and name it whatever you want. I called mine "watermarktest"

The watermarked photo will automatically deposit itself in that folder.

To view your watermarked image, go to the folder you created and find your picture. Doubleclick to open it. You will see your watermark on it! Cool!
