March brings yummy new toys to play with in your crafting studio. Hmmm… wonder what April will bring???
This month I have two brand new Our Daily Bread designs Exclusive Spellbinders die sets on sale now! They are Apron and Tools Dies and Recipe Card and Tags dies. I created these fabulous dies under the creative direction of company owner Kelley Holland. These dies coordinate with an extensive collection of cooking related rubber and clear stamps!
I also did some of the typesetting on the stamps sets as well. I typeset the Happy Spring Pussy Willow set.
The fabulous Gingham Background stamp was also designed by me!!
I had lots of fun back in February making these stamped creations with all of these new products:
Take a look at all of the dies you get in the Apron and Tools Dies set. There is a Scissors die, a Spoon die, a Spatula die, a Garden Trowel die, a Hand Rake die and a Rolling Pin die! There are two Pocket dies a small and large. The tools all fit in the large pocket!
Our Daily Bread designs is the first stamp company to come out with an awesome Recipe Card die and Tags assortment which you see below.
I made two adorable tags with the scallop and circle dies and the flourish tag. The stamp set I used on these tags is Baking Gift Tags.
I love the Happy Marriage Recipe rubber stamp, which I used on this card along with the Recipe Card die:

Happy Birthday to Rick!
Welcome from Grace’s blog! We are celebrating the birthday of Rick at Our Daily Bread designs! I made him a card with a nautical theme using the Surging Sea and Mighty Sea stamp sets. Rick does so much for us including handling Wholesale orders, driving the truck to events and so much more! Praise to God we have Rick with us! Happy Birthday Rick!

Recipe:
Stamps: Surging Sea, The Mighty Sea stamp sets by Our Daily Bread designs
Ink: Ancient Page Coal Black, Watercoloring was done with ink pads and a brush, Copic marker highlights on the ship.
Paper: Blue/Gray, Violet, Shimmer White cardstocks; Designer Paper (manufacturer unknown, from my stash I think it may have been from a Creative Memories scrapbook package)
Other: Silver star brads, SU; large black brads, CTMH; Black embossing powder; Hologram Highlights embossing powder; real Leather blue label frame (manufacturer unknown, from my stash).
I created the glitter background on this card to look like water in the ocean. I took a piece of violet cardstock and covered it with VersaMark and Hologram Highlights embossing powder. The embossing makes the violet look like the ocean deep! I was thrilled to look through my stash and find this blue label frame made out of real leather! Nothing says “male card” better than a bit of real leather!
Rick, I hope your birthday is the best ever! And thank you for all you do for Our Daily Bread designs!

Welcome to January
Welcome to 2013!
And Welcome to my blog from Lisa Somerville’s blog, here at the Our Daily Bread designs January New Releases blog hop!
The January new releases include stamp sets for children as well as a new Antique Labels stamp sets suite (which I happened to design!!)
Here is my card. It has a warm vintage feel which I achieved using brown and champagne tones with pink and green.
Recipe:
Stamps: Antique Labels Designs, Fellowship Sentiments, Words of Faith stamp sets by Our Daily Bread designs
Ink: Rose Red, Hunter Green, Caramel and Chocolate Brown
Paper: Rose Red, Hunter Green, White, of SU!; Designer Paper, “Tattered Time” Matstack DCWV (Die Cuts with a View)
Other: Antique Labels and Border Dies, ODBD Exclusive ; Elegant Ovals Dies, ODBD Exclusive ; Spellbinders Labels 14 Dies; Assorted heart punches; Leaf die, Sizzix; Smooch Spritz by Clearsnap; Heart Sugar Pick by Jillibbean Soup; Rose by Prima; Rhinestone pink gems; Champagne taffeta ribbon; Rose and white baker’s twine; Some accessories courtesy Cindy Coutts
My idea for these stamp sets came from my mother-in-law. She is very active in her Methodist church and does lots of service work in the community. Sometimes you would like to recognize these active church volunteers with cards and small gifts that show their work is appreciated! The Fellowship Sentiments stamp set meets that need. Look how nicely the word “Love” fits inside the small dotted border in the Antique Labels Designs stamp set. I love adding small dangling words to my cards in collage fashion and the Words of Faith stamp set is designed for that! I also like having many coordinating stamps to match the labels in the Antique Labels Designs set. On this card I used the small cross and the corner flourish to accent the greeting! I put a pretty pink rhinestone in the center of the cross.
I also designed the All Occasion Sentiments stamp set (which I didn’t use on this card). The idea behind that set is a versatile set of Christian greetings that could be used both inside and outside of a card. I like this stamp set because it can be used with just about any other set that is sold by Our Daily Bread designs! That’s what makes it a “must have” set for your collection!
I hope you enjoy using these stamp sets! I had so much fun designing them!!

The Bible tells us to Never Give Up! – Blog Hop
Welcome to the For the Love of Designer’s Favorites blog hop with Our Daily Bread designs! You probably arrived here from Lisa Somerville’s blog here.
Even when days are rough and times are tough, God says that we should never give up. I’ve had some rather sorrowful days lately. And it is in the tough emotional times when I’m feeling my worst, that I turn to God. Since Friday afternoon when my kitty had a stroke, it has been hard for me. She is now with her Savior and my soul is at peace knowing she is in Heaven being cared for and loved by the Lord. My tough times only serve to strengthen my faith and never give up living my life. My faith helps me cope.
I sincerely hope you all turn to Him in your troubling times and feel his healing.
Today’s blog hop card was made while I’m still grieving. But the colors I chose for this card show how making this card tonight was very good therapy for my grieving. According to the Sensational Color website, the color purple uplifts, calms and offers a sense of spirituality. I think this card does just that.
I used the stamp set Never Give Up (Our Daily Bread designs) for my card. The cross in the stamp set has a coordinating die called Grunge Cross Die. The pair, when layered together with foam tape, give a spectacular presentation. You can pick up these two items and get FREE SHIPPING on your orders through midnight EST Dec. 22! Click here for more information!
Here is a photo that illustrates the layering of the cross that I achieved using the Grunge Cross Die:

My first stamp set releases are available!
Good morning all! And welcome to December!
Since starting to design for Our Daily Bread designs, I’ve been busy with all sorts of projects. Today I’m happy to announce that this month, my first stamp set releases are available! If you are interested in seeing the stamp sets I had a hand in designing with Kelley, continue reading!
I’ll start you out with a beautiful hand stamped card by Design Team member Dawn Lusk: Dawn used the Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set and matching dies along with the Snowflake Sentiments stamp set:
I wanted to make versatile Christian stamps that could be used throughout the winter season. For the verses, I use a theme of warmth, comfort and peace. I also wanted to include some stamps with a subtle Love theme, to cover February. The Sparkling Snowflakes stamp set has a matching set of Spellbinders Snowflakes dies to cut them out! Dawn’s lovely creation above illustrates this.
Here is a lovely card by ODBD design team member Chris Olsen:
I’ve always been fond of vintage/grunge/shabby chic style. Typically you will see nativity images that are either on the cute side or plain and sophisticated. I wanted mine to be different. Shabby. Grungy. Unique. Thus we have the new stamp set called Away in a Manger.
Here is a card made by design team member Angie Crockett:
There are two background stamps in this, my first “release”. Angie used the Snowflake background stamp as the main image on her card above. Isn’t it posh? A smaller pattern called Small Snowflake Background is also available.
ODBD design team member Sabrina Jackson graced us with her beautiful bookmarks last August, and she is back at it again with the Snowflakes collection! Below are the snowflake bookmarks she designed! Aren’t they gorgeous?! The Snowflake Bookmark stamps can be cut out with the matching bookmark dies. The stamps in the Snowy Blessings and Snowflake Sentiments stamp sets fit inside the framed areas in the Snowflake bookmarks.

I just got my copies of these products hot off the press from the manufacturer and I’ll play with them myself tomorrow!
Watch for some pretty creations made by me with this, my very first product suite!
Thank you for celebrating with me on this special day!!! And thank you to Kelley at Our Daily Bread designs for making this possible! Thank you for believing in me!
(My husband said he’s proud of me too! Love ya dear!)
