The January new releases include stamp sets for children as well as a new Antique Labels stamp sets suite (which I happened to design!!)
Here is my card. It has a warm vintage feel which I achieved using brown and champagne tones with pink and green.
Recipe:
Stamps: Antique Labels Designs, Fellowship Sentiments, Words of Faith stamp sets by Our Daily Bread designs
Ink: Rose Red, Hunter Green, Caramel and Chocolate Brown
Paper: Rose Red, Hunter Green, White, of SU!; Designer Paper, “Tattered Time” Matstack DCWV (Die Cuts with a View)
Other: Antique Labels and Border Dies, ODBD Exclusive ; Elegant Ovals Dies, ODBD Exclusive ; Spellbinders Labels 14 Dies; Assorted heart punches; Leaf die, Sizzix; Smooch Spritz by Clearsnap; Heart Sugar Pick by Jillibbean Soup; Rose by Prima; Rhinestone pink gems; Champagne taffeta ribbon; Rose and white baker’s twine; Some accessories courtesy Cindy Coutts
My idea for these stamp sets came from my mother-in-law. She is very active in her Methodist church and does lots of service work in the community. Sometimes you would like to recognize these active church volunteers with cards and small gifts that show their work is appreciated! The Fellowship Sentiments stamp set meets that need. Look how nicely the word “Love” fits inside the small dotted border in the Antique Labels Designs stamp set. I love adding small dangling words to my cards in collage fashion and the Words of Faith stamp set is designed for that! I also like having many coordinating stamps to match the labels in the Antique Labels Designs set. On this card I used the small cross and the corner flourish to accent the greeting! I put a pretty pink rhinestone in the center of the cross.
I also designed the All Occasion Sentiments stamp set (which I didn’t use on this card). The idea behind that set is a versatile set of Christian greetings that could be used both inside and outside of a card. I like this stamp set because it can be used with just about any other set that is sold by Our Daily Bread designs! That’s what makes it a “must have” set for your collection!
