In our house, kitties hold places of honor!
Kitties are our life. My husband and I take in homeless cats and kittens and find them good homes.
In fact, we have 3 more homeless barn kittens arriving at our house in a few days!
Our house is filled with kitty noise all the time! Kitty chatters, kitty collar bell jingles, paw pitter patters, toys rolling across the floor, lots of meows and occasionally a growl when two kitties get into a row (like yesterday morning at 4 am!)
So when the Our Daily Bread designs Alumni team decided on doing a “For the Love of Animals” blog hop, well… I had to join!
I made my card using the Cat Sympathy stamp set.
I’ve been addicted to fussy cutting lately! If you notice in the side view image below, the kitty is cut out and layered on the top with dimensionals. I colored the kitty with Prismacolor Pencils and Gamsol.

What a lovely card this is – really lovely colours you’ve chosen too! I like the way you’ve used the Spellbinders die with the doily and the scalloped circle underneath. You’ve echoed the colour of the ribbon really nicely and I just love he buckle! It all works so well and the colours are fresh and exciting. Well done!

Precious card. I love the kitten and the doily behind it. I’m a cat lover, my babies are 15 1/2 years old.
I love kitties too. I have a rescue cat too. He was so afraid but now he is turning into a secure handsome cat who adores our dog the best.
Okay, you had me at the kitty….being the mom to rescued kitties, my heart always gravitates to them. Lovely card.

Wow that is amazing and I am more partial to dogs! Our family does have a cat and we lost one around the time of my first daughter’s birth. My husband would so have appreciate this card. I love using prismacolors and gamsol, haven’t done it in a while though. It makes such a great finish.
