Cathedral Window stamps with matching dies!
Hi all,
I’d like to share with you a card I made from the Our Daily Bread designs coordinating Cathedral Window stamps and dies that were released just this month! When Kelley showed me the dies several months ago, I could picture matching stained glass window stamps for inside the squares! So I made some! (stamps, that is… I designed the matching stamps!) The cathedral window patterns have borders in both wood and marble. That way you can stamp your window a second time and use the cathedral window die to cut out the window border and adhere it to your window with dimensionals to pop it up!
Here is my sample:
RECIPE:
Stamps: Cathedral Window Wood (Marble also available here), Antique Labels Designs, Words of Faith
Paper: Plum, Lavender and Apricot
Ink: Chocolate Chip Brown
Accessories: Cathedral Window Dies and Antique Labels exclusive by Our Daily Bread designs and manufactured by Spellbinders Paper Arts, crystal effects, Apricot square rhinestone brads, orange skinny organza curling ribbon by M&J Trimming New York, pink rhinestones, Lavender rose by Prima, Fanciful Flourish die by Cheery Lynn Designs and Ornare paper piercing template.

Take a look!

Pretty Pink Hyacinth!
I am truly addicted to the wonderful smell of hyacinths! I just LOVE the flower and this is the time of year when I look forward to their bloom! Here is another hyacinth card made with the Our Daily Bread designs stamp set called Hyacinth!
On this card, I used the Quatrefoil Pattern background die which coordinates with the Quatrefoil Design Dies. Look at how beautiful they compliment each other!

Ink: Black Colorbox Pigment ink by Clearsnap, green pigment inks, Rose Red dye ink

Hyacinth peace be with you!
I love all of the layering possibilities the Hyacinth stamp set from Our Daily Bread designs provides. This stamp set is an April release and was designed by me, under the direction of Kelley. I wanted a hyacinth stamp that has depth. Notice on the Peace Be With You card how I cut out and layered with dimensionals the banner, the framed hyacinth and then the script onto another matted die cut that matches the stamp. I love creating dimensional cards.
Not only is the main focal image layered, so are the corners! I used the Quatrefoil Design Dies to create four perfectly decorated and layered corners! First I die cut the mat Quatrefoil and then the Design. I cut them both in quarters to layer both on each corners of the card! I secured them with a shimmery pink brad.
This stamp set includes various greetings that are designed to fit perfectly inside the banner area on the stamp.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Hyacinth, Grunge Cross Background
Paper: Plum purple, Pink patterned paper, White
Ink: Black Colorbox Pigment ink by Clearsnap and Hologram Highlights embossing powder, Copic Markers, Plum purple and white pigment inks
Accessories: Quatrefoil Design Dies exclusive by Our Daily Bread designs and manufactured by Spellbinders Paper Arts, Labels 26 Dies by Spellbinders, pink shimmery brads, blue taffeta ribbon, blue shimmery brad, Flower Soft Mixed Lavender
Lovely Morning Glories
I had a very good time coloring this lovely morning glory collage with Copic Markers. This is a great image to show off my blending skills. This morning glory collage features a vintage postcard with stamp and postal cancellation that says “Morning Glory Mail”. The set is called Morning Glory and included along with the collage are several matching verses that can be stamped in the blank space in the postcard area! I designed this stamp set under the direction of Kelley Holland at Our Daily Bread designs.
I also used the Quatrefoil Design Dies on this card as well.
RECIPE:
Stamps: Morning Glory, Romantic Floral Designs (both by Our Daily Bread designs)
Paper: Navy Blue and White
Ink: Black Colorbox Pigment ink by Clearsnap and Hologram Highlights embossing powder, Copic Markers, Sahara Sand Pigment Ink (on the embossed areas of the Quatrefoil Die)
Accessories: Quatrefoil Design Dies exclusive by Our Daily Bread designs and manufactured by Spellbinders Paper Arts, Labels 26 Dies by Spellbinders, Shaving Cream Technique, Yellow brads from my stash, Ticket Corner punch by Stampin Up.
Quatrefoil Die Easy Card
Well, today I am very proud to share a pretty die I designed! It is an ornate Quatrefoil design. Oh my, I am so proud to have designed this because it was a more difficult one to create… because it has some embossing areas and piercing dots as well as cut outs. I have Kelley Holland to thank for this die, as it was she who believed in my ability to design this. Thanks so much Kelley for the opportunity! This Quatrefoil Design Die set of 2 is available for purchase at Our Daily Bread designs.
The quatrefoil is a traditional Christian design commonly used in church architecture!
Here is my easy card:
In this card, I cut out an area with the larger mat die and place the decorative cut out inside that space!
RECIPE:
Stamps: Antique Labels Designs, Words of Faith
Paper: Rose Red and White
Ink: Rose Red by Stampin Up, White Pigment Ink (for the embossed areas in the design)
Accessories: Quatrefoil Design Dies and Antique Labels and Border Dies both exclusive by Our Daily Bread designs and manufactured by Spellbinders Paper Arts, Ribbon, Stick pin, vintage brad and mini safety pin by Stampin Up, Large Australian Crystal bead off of an old vintage necklace.
