Donna Bagwell recently got a blog makeover. I designed her blog 2 years ago and it was looking out-of-date… we completely changed up her design in a brand new style and with updated colors… so pretty!

The theme for her blog is a stamping picnic… in the woods! We have a picnic basket under a tree with stamping supplies, swing, bluebird, butterflies and flowers!

Well, I took a short break from posting here because I’ve been super busy!

I’d like to pause today and feature another finished design. This one is a color change! Karen Herrmann, Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator, asked me to change her existing blog design to the new In Colors!

Gone is the Concord Crush and Pear Pizzazz. Her blog is now Calypso Coral, Island Indigo, Pool Party and Lucky Limeade!

Stampin' Up! Demonstrator and Founder's Circle member Lucia Gammon recently moved from Blogger to WordPress with Amy Celona's services at www.websbyamy.com. She asked for a blog design inspired by the new Paisley Petals Designer Series Paper in the new 2011-2012 catalog.

While this design isn't just like the designer paper, it does come relatively close in its style and colors. The colors aren't "exact" either, since we used Marina Mist Tangerine Tango, Cherry Cobbler, River Rock, Early Espresso, Soft Suede, Certainly Celery and Pear Pizzazz. That combination varies a bit from the paper. But we like the overall effect. I tried Bravo Burgundy instead of the Cherry Cobbler to start and it looked too dark for the web, which is why we opted to go lighter. This was also the reason for opting for Pear Pizzazz and Celery in place of the Old Olive and Always Artichoke. The entire design including the flowers at the bottom were all hand-shaded by me! Truly a labor of love!

Lucia also opted for pop-up navigation in her banner. This feature seems to be a big trend right now! Lucia's banner navigation was programmed by Heather Wright-Porto at www.blogsbyheather.com. Heather is very easy to work with and she is very accomodating. She gets the job done.

Jeannine asked me for a simple, clean blog design and pointed out a few designs in my portfolio that she likes. Then she gave me some color preferences to work with and we came up with this beautiful blog design with 3-D butterfly in a flourish frame! Simple, yet slightly Victorian, this design really shows off her artwork well!

Wow! Stampin' Up! Demonstrator Stacey Tomkowiak has a new butterfly blog design in shades of Pacific Point, Night of Navy, Turquoise Sahara Sand and gold! Just stunning! Stacey wanted something very different… so I made the entire top of the banner into a butterfly with swirls behind! Her title is placed along the swirl! How lovely!
