WordPress upgrade and “move” for Jayne!
Stampin’ Up! Demonstrator Jayne Singleton asked me (last summer) about upgrading and moving her blog off of her previous hosting service (because of several problems with that service). I recommended that she move her blog to www.websbyamy.com because I knew it would solve the problems she was having.
We just moved her over to www.websbyamy.com and she’s all re-located.
I designed her Melon Mambo and Rich Razzleberry blog design back in 2009. She just indicated she wanted to keep the design and simply move it over. So that’s what we did!

Author Suzanne Perryman’s blog has a vintage typewriter theme!
Last year published author and spokesperson for mitochondrial disease asked for a blog makeover with a vintage typewriter theme. She asked for a fresh, clean design with a bit of vintage and a paper border with torn edges. We added some pink to add some “pop” in her design.
Suzanne is also the daughter of author and screenplay writer Joe Eszterhas.
Suzanne asked for social networking links in her blog banner along with links to a few pages. Heather Wright Porto programmed Suzanne’s banner links!

Branding Bricks launch party today!
Occasionally I design and set up blogs for those who are not in the craft and hobby industry. I’d like to share one that I recently finished called Branding Bricks. It is a blog focusing on brands, branding, marketing, social media, public relations and business growth. The author is Gregg Voss, Public Relations Senior Account Executive at Bader Rutter & Associates in Chicago.
Gregg has a wealth of experience working in marketing communications. He decided to take his blog to the next level and we developed his blog on WordPress. His blog is SEO optimized and the administration is rich with data collection features so he can keep track of his reader demographics.
WordPress.org is a major step up from Blogger and provides the professional tools needed to be successful in the area of business and marketing.
