I think it is important to be Eco friendly and I am a strong supporter of buying locally as well. I’m known to hang out at local farmers markets here and I purchase my produce from local farms. I try to do things around the house that are more Eco friendly like recycling and reusing whenever I can. I carry an Eco friendly bag whereever I go so that I don’t have to use paper or plastic bags.
Some of the things I do:
- Old picture frames can be painted and reused
- Old papers and magazines go in the recycle bin
- I stay away from using paper plates and cups
- Carrying a Green bag with me when I go anywhere
- Recycling glass and aluminum
What I’d really like to do is read about alternatives to some of the cleaning products I’m using. I’m planning on reading Muireann’s blog when she has it up and running! I’m always looking for more ideas on how to be Eco friendly!
