I have the following service orders in queue:

A few notes on how I work

It is normal for me to have several banners in progress at the same time. While I wait for changes/approvals on designs (email responses from customers), I work on the next banner. How fast I get them done partially depends on how difficult the design requested and how many changes are made by the customer, and if the customer has a circumstance that requires immediate deadline (such as the recent case with a customer who’s father was in his final days of Cancer and the banner was a gift for him, then I hope everyone else can lend their understanding). It is not unusual for me to have 6 or 7 banners in various stages of progress at one time.

I will make as many changes to your banner as needed to make you happy. All banners/ads/business cards etc. are created in Illustrator and the latest full version of Photoshop. Sometimes I hit the bullseye and the customer thinks the first draft is perfect (Hi Sue Lehrer!). Sometimes I’m off target and I need to completely redo the first draft. There is no need for anyone to feel guilty about having me completely redo a banner draft! Really! It is no problem! It is no big deal! It is not easy to create a banner when I don’t really know someone… and all I have to go on are instructions about what they are envisioning.

Also, do not worry if you think customers are in line behind you. Actually they may not be in line at all… because I work on several at  a time while waiting for customer changes/approvals. So it really is no problem how many changes you make. Those behind you are most likely being worked on while I wait for you.

Blog Setup

My specialty is Blog Banners and Graphic Design. While I certainly can set up blogs on Blogger and Typepad, I prefer to leave that work for my business partner of several months: Heather Wright-Porto.

My banner service DOES include installation and always has. But my installation of a banner DOES NOT INCLUDE setting up sidebars and links.  I encourage anyone who wants the additional service for setting up sidebars and links to go to Heather for this. The reason? Simply, I need to concentrate on design so that I continue to put out quality banners.

I DO have several customers whom I maintain their sidebars for and I will continue to do so. But I encourage you at this time to use Heather’s sidebar maintenance service for Blogger and Typepad blogs. I am now setting up privately hosted blogs on Amy Celona’s servers when I am asked to do so. BUT My first priority is to ensure the banners and ads I produce are quality and meet my customer’s needs.

Heather specializes in Blogger/Typepad. Heather’s blog service can be found here:  http://www.blogsbyheather.com Heather and I work together like a team and we troubleshoot problems for each other’s customers. I know the specs she needs to do her job - as far as banner size, etc. We also troubleshoot html code issues/ file type issues and work together to make banners and sidebar buttons look the best they can be on your blog. Heather is also building custom pages and forms for blogs that I’m sure her customers will love.  I simply don’t have the time to do it all! But this is Heather’s area of focus, and she is awesome!

As needed, I will update this blog with "Service Queue" posts. These are meant simply as a guide for customers, but they shouldn’t think that they are further down in line and will take longer.

Remember, I work on MANY banners/ads/watermarks/backgrounds, etc. at one time while I wait for Change Orders and Approvals. So don’t hesitate to get in the line… for your time will come quicker than you think!

Thanks!
