Taking a day off tomorrow
For those waiting for banner drafts/blog elements/ etc. – just so you know I won’t be around to answer emails Saturday. I will be back at work doing drafts/ etc. late Saturday night and Sunday. I usually answer emails right away… but tomorrow I won’t be available to do so.
Tomorrow I have a yearly commitment that I always sign up to participate in. Every year I participate in the Great Lakes Pet Expo for the Kindred Kitties non-profit cat shelter. It is a big, once a year fair that is held on Super Bowl Weekend. Most of the non-profit animal rescue organizations in SE Wis participate in this big event. Karen Podella, my former Stampin’ Up! downline, friend, and cat rescuer and I always organize booth space for Kindred Kitties cat shelter together. This year we have a third volunteer (she’s one of my stamping customers!) so I’m sure we’ll have a great time looking through the Stampin’ Up! catalog during slow times and making our SAB orders! lol
I’ll be in booth #309 if you want to come by and say "hi!"!
Karen and I share information about cats and cat adoptions to potential adoptees and hand out useful information about cat care. I donate my Stampin’ Up! craft fair tables to the organization for the day to hold kitten condos so we can have kitties there for people to consider adopting. It is a huge event. If you’re in SE Wis or northern Illinois and you’d like to get out of the house on a cold winters day to visit fuzzy beasts and see some awesome dog agility training, come to the event! It is an AWESOME event for kids. What better way to fight winter blues!
I’ll be participating in the Annual Pet Parade (yeah, corny I know….) holding a kitten named Manhatten. (if you come, don’t taunt me! please!)
So, rest assured, I haven’t fallen off the face of the earth for the day… I’ll just have gone to the dogs…
I’ll get back to you if you email me!
More on Andrea’s new look!
I can’t help thinking that I need to change my blog template after seeing Andrea Walford’s blog come together so nicely.
Amy Celona worked on the template for Andrea with the layout elements the way they are… 3 at the top, down the right side with the main column on the left. I just love that look. So clean and simple. Everything is so easy to find now! It is amazing all the great customizing Amy can do. She spent hours on Andrea’s new look and I think it it amazing!
I have to say that I am jealous of Andrea’s nice new look. What I like about Andrea’s blog is that it is professional, yet friendly.
Here are some siggies that I finished for Andrea this morning:

Recently, Stampin’ Up! demonstrator Andrea Walford decided she needed a new look for her blog. She wanted a professional clean and classy design. Andrea’s blog is hosted by WebsbyAmy.

Tangii has a soft and elegant new look for her blog!
Tangii needed a new look for her new blog. Her old blog just wasn’t doin’ it for her anymore. So she asked me to come up with a design for her. When I asked her what styles she likes, what time of person she is, the most striking thing she said was that she has a chandelier in her bathroom!!!??!!! so…. ok, what sort of banner should I design for someone who has a chandelier in their bathroom! lol Here we are:
