Watermark Updates for everyone
This is the time of year to think about updating your watermark with the new year! This year, Stampin’ Up! changed the policy! They no longer require the years to be on the copyright statement!!! SOOOO…
I’m running a special from now through the end of December!
If you’ve ordered a watermark from me in the past, you can get an updated watermark without the years on it for $2 OR by sending me an RAK (I like receiving pretty cards!!).
NEW watermark customers can get a watermark for $3!
This special is good through December 31 ONLY.
Yes, please update my Watermark:

iWatermark Tutorial
For those who order my watermarks and have Macs, iWatermark is a great solution if you don’t want to purchase Photoshop Elements. I gave iWatermark a test spin tonight and I was able to figure it all out quite easily.
1. You will need iWatermark.
2. A photo
3. Watermark 3 (for those who order my watermarks I send one in .psd format, one in 2.png, one 3.png and a sample. You will need the version ending 3.png)
After installing iWatermark, open the program and you’ll see a page like this:

To add your watermark to the program, click on the "Edit" button highlighted in yellow above. This will open your Watermark Editor window.

First click "Image" to go to the image page.
Drag or double click and upload your watermark into the box shown by the arrow above.
Click "Just Picture"

Click on "Effects" to go to the Effects page.
Choose Text: None (no effect used) – my watermarks come to you pre-embossed. If you aren’t using my watermarks, and your watermark isn’t embossed, you may want to do so here.

Click on "General" to go to the General settings page.
Choose the location you’d like your watermark to appear on your image (I chose "Top Left")
Change scale to 50%
Now you are ready to put your watermark on your photo. Go back to your iWatermark window.

Upload your photo by dragging or clicking in the left-side box.
Checkmark "Watermark the Images"
Choose your watermark in the drop-down box.
Hit "Start Processing" button.
You will be asked where you’d like your watermarked photo to go, just create a folder and name it whatever you want. I called mine "watermarktest"
The watermarked photo will automatically deposit itself in that folder.

To view your watermarked image, go to the folder you created and find your picture. Doubleclick to open it. You will see your watermark on it! Cool!

My banners aren’t just for stampers!
This blog banner is for Muireann Quigley’s blog focused on how we can be Eco friendly in an economy such as we are in.

I think it is important to be Eco friendly and I am a strong supporter of buying locally as well. I’m known to hang out at local farmers markets here and I purchase my produce from local farms. I try to do things around the house that are more Eco friendly like recycling and reusing whenever I can. I carry an Eco friendly bag whereever I go so that I don’t have to use paper or plastic bags.
Some of the things I do:
- Old picture frames can be painted and reused
- Old papers and magazines go in the recycle bin
- I stay away from using paper plates and cups
- Carrying a Green bag with me when I go anywhere
- Recycling glass and aluminum
What I’d really like to do is read about alternatives to some of the cleaning products I’m using. I’m planning on reading Muireann’s blog when she has it up and running! I’m always looking for more ideas on how to be Eco friendly!
A beautiful purple ensemble for Roxanne!
Look at this beauty! Roxanne sure has a pretty blog this morning! I just love the soft purple shades with a touch of Mellow Moss.

Let’s to Retro with Jaycene!
Jaycene asked for a bold, retro look to go along with her fun blog title! She also ordered a background… I’ll post her whole look when it is live!

I must admit that I have the most difficult time making banners that are cartoon-y. I don’t know why… The easiest for me to make are Shabby Chic ones… it is the cartoon-y ones that I seem to never be satisfied with until I just have to send the draft off to the customer and hope they like it.
Other cartoon-style ones I’ve done include:
I don’t do many Cartoon-y ones, but I think the ones I’ve been asked to do, I have been able to pull off somehow.
I’m actually working on another Cartoon-y one right now. And it is taking a long time for me to get it looking right. Hopefully it will come together soon.
