Hand Created Smiles Shop!
Take a look at the new banner I made for the Hand Created Smiles Shop!
Vicki wanted a banner that was clean and simple with a touch of Boho. She wanted a banner in the colors of Stampin’ Up’s Western Sky Designer Series Paper.
I used brackets around her title, but added some Boho swirl design to them to dress them up! No plain brackets here! Boho Brackets! Cool!
Vicki sells handmade cards and gifts! http://www.handcreatedsmiles

Find out where people click on your blog!
When a stamper comes to your blog, what is the most important thing you’d like them to do? Some answers may be:
- Click on the store link
- Click on link to a catalog
- Click on a link to a forum
- Click on a project gallery
The topics are endless. These are just a few. Once you’ve determined the goal for your readers’ attention, you will want to direct them there in as few easily accessible steps as possible.
That means, if you want them to go to the catalog, make it the catalog link prominent! Position the link in the upper left sidebar underneath your photo and email link! Also link to your catalog when you refer to it in your posts! You may also wish to include the catalog link in your post footers so it appears in every post!
Studies have shown that most people tend to click links that are in the left sidebar above the fold. If you’d like get a visual picture of your blog and see where people click most often, go to Crazy Egg! Try it out. See for yourself if the marketing studies are correct- where do people click the most frequently on YOUR blog?
